Men’s Health Month

Each June, we celebrate  Men’s Health Month! Take the opportunity to encourage the men in your life to prioritize their health! Men’s health does not only affect the individual, but also impacts their family and friends. 

According to the Men’s Health Network, men are at greater risk for cancer, heart disease, stroke, and HIV/AIDS and are less likely to seek care for exams and preventative practices. Take control of your health today! 

  • Incorporate more fiber into your diet and limit intake of sugars and fats.
  • Maintain your personal fitness goals and join activities that help you stay motivated.
  • Make steps towards quitting tobacco. 
  • Stay on top of your yearly checkups and monthly testicular self-examinations.
