We are here for you to help manage medical care for your entire family.  The Family Medicine Services at UCR Health provides complete, comprehensive, and advanced medical care for all members of your family from infants, children, and elderly.

Our Family medicine physicians and residents are here to treat you and your love ones with a whole person care approach understanding your culture, socioeconomic status and gender identity.  The result is a happier and healthier family.

UCR Health Family Medicine is an innovative leader in developing programs to meet the needs of our patients including telemedicine during the COVID-19 pandemic. We have a multicultural and multilingual staff that are here for your needs. Our electronic medical record (EMR) system helps us provide comprehensive care, keep track of your treatments and visits, and communicate with other providers effectively

Our physicians and residents provide family-centered primary care for patients of all ages, from newborns to the elderly. We see a range of conditions, including:

  • Acute illnesses in children and adults, including cold, flu, cough, and backaches
  • Aging-related illnesses and conditions, for example, arthritis, osteoporosis, abdominal pain
  • Gynecologic conditions and diseases, such as irregular periods, urinary tract infections, sexually transmitted diseases, vaginal infections, abnormal uterine bleeding, and peri-menopausal disorders
  • Chronic conditions, including diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, asthma, and obesity
  • Sports-related conditions that include sprains and strains
  • Psychological conditions including depression, anxiety, and substance abuse disorders

Our family physicians offer a full range of medical services for the whole family, including:

  • Adult and child preventive and wellness care, including physical exams
  • Geriatric health assessments
  • Immunizations for all ages
  • Lifestyle and nutritional counseling, including diabetes and weight management
  • Primary care pain management
  • Cervical, breast and colon cancer screening and prevention
  • Pap smears and follow-up colposcopy and cervical biopsies
  • Contraception, including IUD and nexplanon insertion and removal
