With the excitement surrounding the long-awaited expansion of UCR Health’s Women’s Health Center, a virtual Open House on October 30th, 2020 was open to the Inland Empire community. The Open House showcased additional services that are now accommodated by the expansion of UCR Health Women’s Health Center.
The new suite will be utilized for Gynecologic services while the original suite will service all OB and MFM patients. The Gynecology suite will specialize in Gynecology Oncology, Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, Family Planning, and Urogynecology. The additions to the space include:
- Two large procedure rooms designed to support Urogynecology and Oncology Gynecology
- An additional lab on-site for in-house specimen testing
- 8 new exam rooms that double as consult and procedure rooms
- An additional nurses station
- A new MD office accommodating up to four physicians
UCR Women’s Health Center would also like to welcome Dr. Bobby Garcia to the team. Dr. Garcia, a Urogynecologist, will be practicing in the Women’s Health Center and says his top priority is “… offering patients multiple solutions and [to help] them pick the treatment that will help them live their best life.”
